The idea for this website came from the 15 years of advocacy work and experience on the subject of "Occupying Community Premises" of David Howell.

Whilst this website initiative is directed by David Howell (with web design from Robert Cope of Capital Designs) www.peppercornrent.co.uk is supported by a consortium of North West Kilburn (Camden - London) community organisations (REAL RESOURCES). The consortium charity is composed of : Abbey Community Centre, Kingsgate Community Association, Sidings Community Centre, St. Mary's Community Hall, Winchester Project, West Hampstead Community Association.
